Viad Logo, Edward Mace, Viad Board of DirectorsA current member of the Board of Directors of  Viad (NYSE:  VVI), elected in 2012.   Viad is a SmallCap 600 company with two major business segments: Marketing & Events and Travel & Recreation.  The Company has a market cap of approximately $570 million (as on 1/13/2013.)  Mace also serves on the Audit Committee.

 

Currently a member of the Board of Directors of The Country Club of the Rockies located in Beaver Creek, Colorado. Golf Digest consistently ranks the Club’s Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course one of the top courses in Colorado.  Mace is also Chairman of the House Committee.

 

Urban Land Institute, Ed MaceAn active Member of the Urban Land Institute for more than twenty years.   Mace has served on various ULI Councils including two, non-consecutive five-year terms as a member of the Hotel Council.

 

A member of the Concession Management Advisory Board for the U.S. National Park Service from 2010 – 2012, appointed by the U.S. Secretary of the Interior.

 

A member of the Board of Directors of BRE Properties (NYSE: BRE,) from 1998-2010.  BRE is a San Francisco based REIT with an approximately $3.9 billion market cap (as of 01/02/2013) and over 21,000 apartments.  While a director at BRE, Mace served in different periods as Chairman of the Nominating & Corporate Governance Committee and Chairman of the Compensation Committee.

 
Cornell University Logo, Edward MaceMace served as a member of the Cornell University Council from 2007-2010.  The Council is an elected group of alumni providing advice and counsel to the University on its strategic direction and a range of other matters.
